When and where is it?
Sunday Club takes place in the Rectory every 1st, 4th and 5th Sunday of the month at 11am, and every 3rd Sunday of the month at 10am.
Who can attend?
Sunday Club is for children (aged 3 to 10 years old) whose parents or carers are worshipping in the church that morning. Numbers vary so some mornings are quiet and others are very busy!
What happens in Sunday Club?
Sunday Club is run by two volunteer helpers each week on a rota basis. Volunteers are usually parents of children who come to Sunday Club.
The session is made up of two to three short activities with a story in the middle. The activities are often a game, a group discussion and making something that can be shown in church after the session.
This year the teachings have come from Light2 by Scripture Union. There are two books that are used called Splash! and Xstream! We will start using Roots at the beginning of May.
In the coming year
We will prepare for our children to receive Communion. There is also a great need for a group for our older children that is both social and spiritual. If you feel you could help with such a group please have a word with Fr Steve.
